Half Bright is Not Half Dark

Is the darkness is other-side of light? We always think that the darkness is opposite of light. It means when the light is absence darkness appears. Then we only trust the existence of light. Can't it be other way? When the darkness ids not there light will come. Both exist. Darkness is there even though light is existing. But darkness cannot be seen because of light. When the light comes darkness still there. That's why when he light goes darkness appears. Then nobody can say that half-bright is similar to half-dark. light survives because of darkness. Light can only be seen in darkness. For the survival of darkness it needs the light. Light is there because darkness exists. Darkness is there because the light exists. They are like Yin and Yang. They need each other. They exist because of the this bipolarity.
